Energy theft is all around you

BH&P won a 12-agency pitch to create and manage the Stay Energy Safe project on behalf of the Crimestoppers Trust. The initial 3-year project has now been extended to 4 years, with renewed focus as we approach year 4 on brand awareness, earned media, video and radio content to bring this overlooked crime type into the public eye.

Challenge:
Create a brand identity and website that stood out from the energy companies, and that would work across a wide range of online and real-world applications.

Insight:
As a completely anonymous reporting service, Stay Energy Safe serves the purpose of increasing public awareness of energy theft and offering an opportunity to report crimes safely.

Solution:
Develop a microsite, original creative content and a digital marketing strategy to drive traffic and reports. Over the past three years, reports have increased many times over, with more than 10k site visitors monthly, and current reporting levels around 250-500 reports per month.
